Eclipse Almanac is live — a century of eclipses ahead

UPSA opens a new public service. Eclipse Almanac is a catalogue of every solar and lunar eclipse from 2026 to 2126: 457 events, each with a page of its own.

For every event the almanac gives the circumstances, contact times and 3–7 best viewing points, selected from ~240 cities worldwide — by kind, obscuration, altitude and duration of totality.

The data is not copied from anyone’s tables: everything is computed by an astronomical engine and replayed by a simulator right in the browser, with a timeline player from 1× to 3600× and contact marks.

The almanac is open and free. Start with the nearest event — the eclipse of 12 August 2026.
